ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY

Here, you can find all my astrophotography exploits, all the shots I have taken.
Some are a bit blurry and others are not, which must be remembered and taken on the condition that these shots are exclusively taken at night with specific lenses or even telescopes.
Take the time to discover my world of astrophotography.

This video is a summary of successful tests.
The attempt to take geostationary satellite shots.
I know that this video should be part of the « Audiovisual » page but to make this video, I had to take a telescope and a certain number of hours for shooting and processing.

Here is a one frame of the Geostationary Satellite video, as you can see, 5 steady dot in center of the frame and 2 other steady dot near the sub left corner, 7 satellite in only one frame is pretty amazing.
Those stricks of light are actually Stars, the camera are in fix position and Stars passing-by the sensor of the camera due to the Earth rotation.

Our own natural satellite, the moon in 2 version of processing.
The first (Left) are only processed with the camera body and the second (Right) are processed with Lightroom, both pictures are taken in RAW for maximum performance and the lenses are simply a telescope of 1250mm focal lenght.

This is the first time…EVER…for me, of taking pictures of a comet, here is « C/2020 F3 » aka « Neowise ».
Pictures taken in July 2020, RAW with 55mm lens in left and processed with 300mm lens in Right, both pictures long exposure of few seconds.

So many name for this constellation, the famous « Ursa Major » or « The Great Bear », « The Big Dipper », « The Plough » are the main reason that i really want to try astrophotography.
The mainificience at the pure state !

A lot of people ask « How do you make this type of picture with this round shape ? »
The answer is clear, Fisheye lenses, my favorite type of lens of all time, especially « Circular » ones that i use and reuse every time for those wonderful picture, lovely !
Little bit blurry, no focus ring on the lens, i’ve try to compense it with piece of paper, it do the job.
